3. Eric Paschall, Villanova (Big Board: N/A)
Over the past two seasons, Villanova has lost Josh Hart, Ryan Arcidiacono, Mikal Bridges, Donte DiVincenzo, Omari Spellman and Jalen Brunson to the NBA. Now it’s Paschall’s turn to break out on the national stage.
With Muscala, Chandler and Johnson all hitting free agency next summer, the Sixers would be wise to address their frontcourt needs. Paschall fits the stretch four/small-ball five mold, giving Brett Brown some versatility off the bench.
Paschall shot 35.6 percent from deep on 2.7 attempts per game last season, but those numbers spiked upward during conference play and the NCAA Tournament. He’s also an underrated athlete, using his strong frame to absorb contact and finish in the paint.
His defensive role at the next level is somewhat ambiguous, but he has a similar vibe to the aforementioned Spellman, who has found ample success with the Hawks early on. Paschall is a do-it-all frontcourt piece in the Sixers’ hometown. He’ll be on the radar.
