The Celtics are trying to win now and, again, have four first-round picks in this scenario. Taking high-upside risks are worthwhile, and Simi Shittu should continue to hold the interest of NBA talent evaluators.

Despite poor shooting touch, Shittu has the tools to become a hyper-versatile defender at the next level. He’s also a unique offensive talent, aggressively slashing to the rim and possessing upside as a playmaking four. He fits the modern NBA, sans the jumper.

Shittu could join the aforementioned Jaylen Hoard as a big riser once the season gets going. His versatility, even in a raw state, is something teams will value. He is averaging 16.0 points and 9.4 rebounds, as well as a block and steal per game.
