All-NBA first team

G — Kemba Walker, Charlotte Hornets

G — Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors

F — Kevin Durant, Golden State Warriors

F — Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks

C — Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers

While Curry missed significant time due to injury, he was the clear MVP frontrunner beforehand. His production and importance to the Warriors — even if limited to 14 games so far — earns him first team honors.

All-NBA second team

G — Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers

G — James Harden, Houston Rockets

F — LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers

F — Kawhi Leonard, Toronto Raptors

C — Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans

The MVP discussion is forward-heavy at this point, with Giannis, Durant, James and Leonard all gracing the top five. Second team shouldn’t be viewed as a slight, and LeBron has more than enough time to move back into the first team slot.

All-NBA third team

G — Kyle Lowry, Toronto Raptors

G — Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City Thunder

F — Paul George, Oklahoma City Thunder

F — Blake Griffin, Detroit Pistons

C — Andre Drummond, Detroit Pistons

The Pistons and Thunder have been sneakily good this season, with Westbrook displaying his typical brilliance (when healthy) and George anchoring the NBA’s stingiest defense. Drummond, despite the Embiid game, is averaging 18.3 points and 15.9 rebounds per game.
