Which celebrities find themselves on the sidelines at Philadelphia 76ers games?

Celebrity courtside sightings have become an NBA staple. Jack Nicholson and Spike Lee have been long associated with the Lakers and Knicks. The celebrity magnetism of the NBA has helped the league transcend sports. The Philadelphia 76ers may not have the glitz and glam of New York or Hollywood, but here are still some notable fans.

On Nov. 23, the Sixers were outgunned by a bad Cleveland Cavaliers team. The Sixers fell victim to poor defense, flat energy, and the Cavs making a silly amount of isolation shots. The game’s attention was overshadowed by Ben Simmons‘ reported girlfriend Kendall Jenner.

Philly doesn’t have the universal appeal of Los Angeles or New York. Sixers games will always have notable people, but I’m not expecting A-listers at every game. The Sixers’ still have their fair share of celebrity fans.

More from Sixers News

Here is an incredibly serious, 100 percent accurate and factual ranking of the Sixers’ famous fans.

Honorable mentions

Lil Uzi Vert — He might be one of the most bizarre people in the music scene, but the North Philly native belongs on this list for his affinity for sweaters, and his love of sending t-shirts into the crowd.

Kendall Jenner — I can almost assure you Kendall Jenner would have zero interest in the Sixers if not for Ben Simmons, but who cares. Jenner is one of the most visible people in America. She’s a supermodel, reality star, and famous for being famous.

The Kardashian family has an awful history with athletes (putting in gently), but if you’re a Sixers fan hating on Kendall Jenner for going to one Sixers loss, get a life. If you think she’s bad luck, you clearly haven’t paid enough attention to the Sixers.

Markelle Fultz‘s jump shot vanished into thin air and Zhaire Smith may not play this season because of an unknown sesame allergy (I’m keeping unlucky examples short, because there’s thousands of them). You REALLY want to tell me the pretty girl that comes to one home game is unlucky? Get out of here.

By the way, the picture above is from the other week’s last-second win over the Nets. She attended a Sixers win. NOMRAL GIRLFRIEND. FIND A NEW SLANT.

I’m not expecting Kendall Jenner to go bananas during free throws in hopes of a free frosty, or learn how to parallel park in the median of Oregon Ave., but as long as she’s courteously supporting the Sixers, why should we have any issue with that? Welcome aboard Kendall, you’ll be saying “jawn” in no time.
