Simisola Shittu presents an intriguing project for NBA teams. He’s essentially a non-shooter (0/5 from three-point range this season), but his blend of athleticism, versatility and basketball I.Q. should win over scouts.

At 6-foot-10, Shittu uses his strong frame to absorb contact and finish inside. He lacks touch on jumpers, but that isn’t the case around the rim. His ability to handle in the open court, combined with excellent core strength and court vision, makes him difficult to contain in transition.

Even without a jumper, Shittu’s slashing and passing should make him a viable contributor in some capacity. His defensive versatility is what should lock him into the first round. He can defend across the positional spectrum and plays with impressive fire on that end.
