The second five-star center to commit to Western Kentucky in as many seasons, Charles Bassey is putting up solid numbers a few weeks in. At 6-foot-10 with a 7-foot-3 wingspan and a mature frame, his physical tools alone should garner NBA interest.

Bassey still has questions surrounding his offensive skill set, but he’s a strong-bodied finisher with touch at the rim. He’s also 3/3 on three-pointers this season, which shows a promising trend — even if it’s far from reliable.

On defense, Bassey will need to prove he can consistently defend in space. His strength and length makes him a capable interior defender, but hanging with quicker players off the bounce or guarding in the pick-and-roll could prove troublesome at the next level.
