Nassir Little has hit a bump in the developmental road on North Carolina, playing just 19.6 minutes per contest and getting fewer opportunities than most expected. It’s still too early to jump ship, though.
As someone who attended the McDonald’s All-American Game, it’s impossible to forget the strong impression Little made en route to MVP honors. He was (and is) ultra-competitive, singling out Zion Williamson on multiple occasions and winning every battle during the game.
A physical 6-foot-7 slasher, Little finishes strong in traffic and has shown promise as a pull-up shooter. His 27.8 percent three-point clip isn’t great, but the mechanics should yield positive results down the line. Add in his defensive ceiling, and Little maintains a solid grasp on the top four — for now, at least.
