A thin frame presents some concerns on defense, but Luka Samanic is one of the few international prospects worth a first-round grade in the 2019 class. He’s a fluid offensive big at 6-foot-10, fitting the modern stretch-four mold.

With his size, Samanic’s ability to operate off the dribble is unique. He can attack closeouts, size up defenders and make the occasional high-level pass on the move. His shooting stroke, while inconsistent in the past, is smooth out to the three-point line.

With promising mobility, Samanic has the tools to develop into a quality defender down the line. He might be a draft-and-stash candidate, but the talent should intrigue teams in the mid-to-late first round.
