Duke. Zion Williamson. 1. player. 142. . Forward, Fr.

Given the Wizards’ current situation, nabbing the top spot would present quite the opportunity. John Wall and Bradley Beal are All-Stars, while Otto Porter remains an effective complementary piece. Adding another potential star gives the Wiz more hope, both in the present and the future.

Zion Williamson seems locked into the No. 1 spot at this point. He’s an elite athlete at 6-foot-7, built like a freight train with uncanny grace on the move. He doesn’t shoot well, but he’s an efficient scorer inside, boasting excellent footwork, touch and power.

In addition to his scoring profile, Williamson can run the break and make high-level passes with regularity. He’s a legitimately smart basketball player, something that gets overlooked too often amidst his mixtape-centric buzz. The Wizards, imperfect fit and all, would happily add Zion to the mix.
