A highly unique guard, Talen Horton-Tucker has quickly ascended to first-round territory. He’s not an elite shooter or athlete, but his abnormal build and quirky skill set continues to impress with Iowa State.
Standing 6-foot-4, Horton-Tucker’s wide shoulders make him an intriguing defensive prospect. He’s equally as intriguing on offense, where his passing chops and scoring instincts stand out, every with a sub-30 percent three-point clip.
The Pacers have a foundational guard in Victor Oladipo, but neither Darren Collison nor Cory Joseph appear to be long-term fixtures. Aaron Holiday continues to perform well in limited minutes, but adding another perimeter prospect would be wise.
