Eric Paschall’s season got off to a slow start following an excellent tournament run in March. Villanova has gradually improved, though, as has Paschall. Now back in the first-round discussion, he’s someone who fits the Warriors’ timeline quite well.

Even if Kevin Durant leaves in free agency, the Warriors will be among the Western Conference favorites. The goal is to win now, something Paschall — a senior — can assist with. He’s small for the power forward spot at 6-foot-6, but his versatility would serve Golden State well.

A strong-bodied, explosive leaper, Paschall can finish well inside, space the floor, and fit the glue-guy role on offense. The Warriors would have an invaluable mentor as well, allowing Paschall to learn the proverbial ropes from Draymond Green.
