The Nets complement Doumbouya’s defensive upside with another shooting specialist on the perimeter. With the Nets putting an emphasis on three-point shooting, Tyler Herro’s off-ball instants and ability to shoot on the move fit right in.

While not overwhelmingly consistent this season, Herro’s shooting pedigree and mechanics should keep NBA teams intriguing. He’s also more than a simple spot-up shooter. He can handle and pass in an ancillary sense, which adds to his value.

Defense remains a work-in-progress for Herro, but his offensive skill set is something teams value. The Nets thrive with an up-tempo, unselfish system that revolves around the three-point line. It’s a natural partnership.
