If Santa brought every player on the Philadelphia 76ers a gift, what would it be?

The Philadelphia 76ers are 22-12, good for third in the Eastern Conference. Even with an incomplete roster, the Sixers feel locked into the top-four (maybe five) after adding Jimmy Butler. Things are looking up in South Philly.

That’s cause for celebration. It’s Christmas Day, and the Sixers travel to Boston to face the Celtics at 5:30 PM E.T. For a team that’s accustomed to adversity, it’s rewarding to see the Sixers get a primetime slot on the season’s biggest holiday.

For matchups worth watching, click here. The game will feature several high-level talents, with Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Jimmy Butler and Kyrie Irving all trending toward All-Star berths. Jayson Tatum and Al Horford are quite good themselves.

Markelle Fultz and Zhaire Smith will also join the Sixers, although neither will suit up. It’s good to see both back with the team, even if it’s only a brief departure from very difficult circumstances. The Sixers, aside from Fultz, Smith and Justin Patton, are at full health.

All of us here at The Sixer Sense would like to wish you, our readers, happy holidays. We hope your day is spent with great friends, family, food and basketball. Here’s a gift for every Sixer.
