With a new year on the horizon, let’s take a look at the plays and moments that defined 2018 for the Philadelphia 76ers.

What a year, huh?

2018 has provided Philadelphia 76ers fans a level of drama and excitement the likes of which have not been felt in what feels like an eternity. There were clutch shots, ferocious dunks, triple-doubles, career-defining performances, lots of wins, and even a friggin’ Twiter controversy, because after all, this is the Sixers we’re talking about here.

As we look forward to 2019, in collaboration with the rest of the The Sixer Sense crew, I present to you a ranking of the 10 most defining Sixers moments of the past 12 months.

Note that this is a compilation of moments from the 2018 calendar year. So although Joel’s 46-point, 15-rebound game against the Lakers on national T.V. and the triple-OT thriller against OKC were both insanely exciting, both of them barely missed the cut since they took place at the tail end of 2017.
