12. Amir Johnson

It seems to have finally set in the mind of coach Brown that Amir Johnson isn’t the same player he was last season. The veteran saw a drop across the board. Despite the decrease in playing time from November, the aging center still drew two starts in place of Joel Embiid, but he didn’t do well in either start. Expect his role to continue to diminish as the season moves forward from this point forward, especially if the team can stay healthy.

11. Shake Milton

December Stats: GP 7| MINS 4.9| FG% 50.0| 3P% 50.0| FT% 100.0| TRB 0.9| AST 0.6| STL 0.3| PF 0.7| PTS 2.9

Previous ranking: 13th

Brown gave Shake Milton a good run of game action during the middle of the month and the rookie put out solid production for the most part. He scored in three out of seven games during that span. He even had a 10 point game against the San Antonio Spurs. He also scored his G-League career high 36 points with the Delaware Blue Coats at the end of the month against the Erie Bayhawks. Milton will need time, but he should be able to develop into a nice role player for the Sixers down the road.

The impressive four points, nine rebounds and four blocks game that Jonah Bolden had against the Toronto Raptors opened the door for the rookie big man to get more minutes and he’s been getting them since that performance. Bolden’s versatility on defense more than makes up for his limited offensive skills. He’s proving to be a valuable bench asset and could be in line for a bigger role down the road.
