9. Furkan Korkmaz

December Stats: GP 13| MINS 18.4| FG% 40.7| 3P% 35.8| FT% 75.0| TRB 3.0| AST 0.9| BKL 0.2| STL 1.1| PF 1.5| TOV 0.6| PTS 7.6

Previous ranking: 9th

There’s no denying that Furkan Korkmaz had a handful of nice games in the month of December. He had two consecutive 18 point outings early in the month and a 16 point game near the end of 2018. He also had some poor shooting performances in the month as well.

December revealed that Korkmaz  is a streaky shooter that can occasionally get hot from downtown. While he’s still a defensive liability, there’s no denying that the wing can get the hot hand from time to time.

8. T.J. McConnell

December Stats: GP 13| MINS 25.6| FG% 58.6| 3P% 41.7| FT% 75.0| TRB 2.7| AST 4.5| BKL 0.2| STL 1.3| PF 2.1| TOV 1.7| PTS 8.5

Previous ranking: 8th

With the Sixers bench being a weakness, T.J. McConnell quietly stepped up his game offensively during December. While he may still be at a disadvantage defensively from time to time, the gritty point guard played aggressively on both sides of the ball. There wasn’t much more fans could have asked of the backup this past month.

7. Landry Shamet

December Stats: GP 13| MINS 18.3| FG% 40.0| 3P% 37.7| FT% 73.3| TRB 1.4| AST 0.6| BKL 0.2| STL 0.3| PF 1.8| TOV 0.5| PTS 7.3

Previous ranking: 6th

Towards the end of December Landry Shamet did hit a big rookie wall of sorts, but overall he had a solid month of play. He reached a career high of 17 points in a blowout win against the New York Knicks. Hopefully, the rookie combo guard will be able to snap out of his poor shooting streak in the month of January, but there’s no denying that in December he was the Sixers most valuable rookie.
