Big, Fr.. Oregon. Bol Bol. 15. player. 170.

Bol Bol is 7-foot-2 with a 7-foot-8 wingspan, putting him in a unique physical category at the next level. He’s built similarly to Mo Bamba, only with more offensive skill and even less muscle mass. His recent foot injury — which will keep Bol out all season — is concerning.

Foot injuries in general are bad, but Bol is abnormally long and thin. His frame alone leaves him prone to injury, while not every lingering foot ailment results in Joel Embiid. Even so, his defensive upside and shooting touch should intrigue teams like Charlotte, who need frontcourt depth.

The Hornets, with or without Kemba Walker next season, should be swinging for the proverbial fences. Bol has one of the highest ceilings in the draft. If he can add lower-body strength, consistently hit threes and remain healthy, Bol has special tools. Charlotte should walk away ecstatic.
