Despite some concerning moments on defense, Ignas Brazdeikis — a relative unknown coming into the season — has established himself as a potential first-round pick. The Nets can appreciate skilled shooters on the wing.

Shooting 36.4 percent on 3.1 three-point attempts per game, the numbers don’t do justice to Brazdeikis’ shooting upside. He’s also a skilled isolation scorer, using tight handles and soft touch to break down defenders and finish inside the arc.

The Nets put a heavy emphasis on spreading the defense out, an offense Brazdeikis’ skill set would fit with naturally. With Jarrett Allen and Caris LeVert among those anchoring the rotation, Brooklyn can afford prospects who don’t specialize on defense.
