A perfect Spurs pick, Admiral Schofield has shown steady improvement throughout his career at Tennessee. He’s now an integral piece for a title contender, giving the Vols a uniquely versatile two-way player.

Schofield doesn’t fit your typical wing mold — he’s 6-foot-5, but boasts tremendous strength and a frame that’s more indicative of power forwards. He can defend multiple positions as a result, using his girth and mobility to avoid mismatches.

A strong multi-position defender and 45.1 percent three-point shooter, it’s easy to imagine Schofield’s fit at the next level. The Spurs can appreciate a) his name and b) his NBA readiness. He’s a late first-round pick with the potential to get legitimate minutes as a rookie.
