Brown was using the 7-foot-3 European center ever since he was acquired before the trade deadline. The big man can get buckets around the basket and scored in double-digits four times in February for the Sixers. He served as backup for Embiid and as his replacement as the starter until Marjanovic got injured himself. The injury occurred against the New Orleans Pelicans and kept him out ever since.
The European big man can score like few others at the rim, but can be exposed in certain defensive matchups. He’s not quick enough to guard on the perimeter or in the pick-and-roll. Whenever he does return to action Brown needs to evaluate the matchup before inserting the Marjanovic into the game.
5. J.J. Redick
February Stats: GP 8| MINS 33.1| FG% 40.0| 3P% 40.0| FT% 88.2| TRB 3.3| AST 3.0| BKL 0.3| STL 0.6| PF 2.1| TOV 1.4| PTS 16.8

Redick started out the month hot, but struggled to produce at the end. Sometimes shooters get cold and February was the month that Redick went cold. He shot 33.3 percent or worst from downtown in the last five games of the month that he played in. Hopefully March won’t be a repeat for Redick in his shooting woes.
4. Ben Simmons
February Stats: GP 10| MINS 36.5| FG% 53.5| 3P% 0.0| FT% 58.9| TRB 7.0| AST 6.2| BKL 0.6| STL 1.2| PF 2.1| TOV 4.4| PTS 17.1

Probably the memorable moment for Simmons in February is taking a 3-pointer in the flow of the game against the Lakers. (video via NBA.com)
Outside of that and his first appearance in an All-Star game, it was a some what disappointing month for the second year player. He was no where close to averaging a near triple-double stat line that has been regular for the point guard this season.
