3. Ben Simmons

March Stats: GP 13| MINS 36.5| FG% 58.1| 3P% 0.0| FT% 70.3| TRB 8.5| AST 7.8| BKL 0.7| STL 1.9| PF 3.4| TOV 3.2| PTS 18.4

Previous ranking: 4th

The biggest accomplishment for Ben Simmons for the month of March was that there was an eight game stretch that he had no more than three turnovers on any given night. Turnovers are the second biggest weakness in Simmons’ game behind his lack of a jump shot. If he has figured out how to limit his turnovers, especially before the playoffs, then it would greatly benefit the Sixers down the stretch.

2. Jimmy Butler

March Stats: GP 13| MINS 35.2| FG% 41.4| 3P% 34.5| FT% 89.5| TRB 6.1| AST 4.4| BKL 0.7| STL 1.8| PF 1.8| TOV 1.6| PTS 18.5

Previous ranking: 3rd

Its safe to say that Butler has finally found his role on this Sixers squad. He’s this team’s closer and does a great job of it. In the fourth quarters of games in March, Butler’s averaging 6.5 points and only 0.6 turnovers on 42.9 percent shooting from downtown and 93.8 percent from the charity strip. Butler’s ability to close out games for the Sixers will be key come playoff time.

1. Joel Embiid

March Stats: GP 8| MINS 33.5| FG% 50.7| 3P% 35.3| FT% 80.5| TRB 15.0| AST 3.5| BKL 1.4| STL 1.5| PF 3.0| TOV 3.4| PTS 29.3

Previous ranking: 2nd

All-Star Big man Joel Embiid missed six games due to resting his knee this month, but that didn’t stop him from absolutely dominating when he did play. In March, Embiid averaged the most points and rebounds in any month this past season. The resting did appear to pay off with great production. He also recorded his third game this past month of at least 40 points this season. Despite missing more than a handful of games, Embiid was clearly the team’s best player in March.

Outside of Harris, the role that every player should have is becoming clear and that has to do with the chemistry that the Philadelphia 76ers have built during March. Hopefully, this core can figure out everything by the time the playoffs begin in April.
