21. Jonathon Simmons

76ers season stats: GP 15| MINS 14.6| FG% 45.3| 3P% 42.9| FT% 64.0| TRB 1.7| AST 2.2| STL 0.7| BLK 0.1| TOV 0.8| PF 1.4| PTS 5.5

As the only player the Sixers got in the trade that sent out Markelle Fultz, Jonathon Simmons’ performance may always be weighted differently. He finished the season strong with a few impressive performances, but for the most part, his play hasn’t fit in with the team’s style of play all that well. For most of his tenure with Philly, he’s been on the bench and out of the regular rotation.

20. Zhaire Smith

76ers season stats: GP 6| MINS 18.5| FG% 41.2| 3P% 37.5| FT% 75.0| TRB 2.2| AST 1.7| STL 0.3| BLK 0.3| TOV 1.0| PF 1.3| PTS 6.7

Like other former Sixers first round picks before, Zhaire Smith dealt with two major injuries during his first season with the franchise. First, he had a broken foot and then a severe allergic reaction. He rehabbed with the Blue Coats before making his season debut late in the regular season. When he did play, he played with a high motor and showed real potential for next season.

19. Corey Brewer

76ers season stats: GP 7| MINS 20.0| FG% 40.8| 3P% 28.6| FT% 69.2| TRB 2.4| AST 1.4| STL 1.7| BLK 0.3| TOV 1.1| PF 2.3| PTS 7.6

Corey Brewer would have been a better option to keep on the roster before Jonathon Simmons, but the 76ers wanted the roster flexibility for the trade deadline, so the club couldn’t sign him for the rest of the season after his two 10-day contracts were up. He was eventually picked up by the Sacramento Kings, but when he did play for the Sixers, he was easily one of the best defenders on the roster.
