3. Jimmy Butler
76ers season stats: GP 55| MINS 33.2| FG% 46.1| 3P% 33.8| FT% 86.8| TRB 5.3| AST 4.0| STL 1.8| BLK 0.5| TOV 1.5| PF 1.7| PTS 18.2
The purpose of adding Jimmy Butler was because the Sixers needed someone on the perimeter who could create off the dribble and make jumpshots. Ben Simmons and Embiid can’t do that, but over the course of the season, Butler has become the team’s closer.

Sometimes he’s a bit too passive on offense, but he turns on his clutch switch when it matters. In the fourth quarter and overtime, Butler has given the Sixers the lead in 11 games in the final three minutes of those games. The Sixers went on to win six of those games.
2. Ben Simmons
76ers season stats: GP 79| MINS 34.2| FG% 56.3| 3P% 0.0| FT% 60.0| TRB 8.8| AST 7.7| STL 1.4| BLK 0.8| TOV 3.5| PF 2.6| PTS 16.9
Looking at the general stat line, it doesn’t appear Ben Simmons made a big improvement from last season and in some ways that’s correct. Overall, he stills struggled with turnovers and failed to develop an outside shot, most of the time he refuses to attempt such shots.
Still despite that, he’s become a more efficient scorer, an All-Star in his second season and is a more versatile defender. He was tied for sixth in assists per game this season in the NBA. He can literally guard all five positions and still recorded 10 triple-doubles along with 42 double-doubles on the season. This summer, he needs to work on a jump shot.
1. Joel Embiid
76ers season stats: GP 64| MINS 33.7| FG% 48.4| 3P% 30.0| FT% 80.4| TRB 13.6| AST 3.7| STL 0.7| BLK 1.9| TOV 3.5| PF 3.3| PTS 27.5
The franchise big man played at an MVP level this season and was selected to another All-Star game. Joel Embiid was near the top of several statistical categories: he was fourth in scoring average, second in rebounds per game and sixth in blocks per game. He also had the fourth most double-doubles with 58 and also had two triple-doubles as well. A nagging knee injury became an issue for the center after the All-Star game. Hopefully, it won’t be a problem beyond this season.
That wraps up this last player rankings for the regular season. To have 26 players suit up for the Philadelphia 76ers this season is a lot to say the least, but it’s good to have an idea of how all these player performed for the franchise this season.
