Due to upside, Sekou Doumbouya remains the top international prospect in the 2019 class — right where he began the season. It was an up-and-down campaign for the 18-year-old, but his three-point shooting picked up recently. His athletic tools are among the best in the draft.

At 6-foot-9, Doumbouya is a strong, explosive athlete. He can protect the weak side, jump passing lanes and defend across the positional spectrum, though his fundamentals could use work. He’s impressive in the open court as well, using long strides to attacking reeling defenses.

Doumbouya has some promising skills. He can generate space off the bounce, has touch on his jumper and possesses great potential as a slasher. If he can improve his mechanics, add a handle and become a more well-rounded decision-maker, there’s top-10 upside.
