Kentucky. P.J. Washington. 13. player. 110. . Forward, So.

P.J. Washington is the perfect Miami prospect — a hard-nosed, skilled athlete at the four spot. He was Kentucky’s best player as a sophomore and upped his draft stock significantly, adding a viable three-point shot and more variety to his offensive repertoire.

The Heat are known for helping players reach their athletic peaks. Washington is already a solid athlete, standing 6-foot-8 with a mature frame and a 7-foot-2 wingspan. Miami can tap into his potential as a multi-position defender who can slide his feet on the perimeter.

On the offensive end, Washington fits as a spot-up shooting and face-up threat next to Bam Adebayo or Hassan Whiteside. He’ll need to prove his three-point shot is legit, but the mechanics check out. He’s already a skilled passer who can thrive in the pick-and-roll, whether it’s facilitating or finishing with touch inside.
