The Pistons need shooters around Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin in the frontcourt. As Reggie Jackson declines and Wayne Ellington hits free agency, investing in the backcourt seems logical. Tyler Herro has been a constant riser and could top Detroit’s board at 15.

Standing 6-foot-6, Herro has solid positional size despite his miniature wingspan. He’s one of the draft’s most prolific shooters, showing promise both off the dribble and in spot-up situations. His compact, fluid mechanics allow Herro to pull the trigger in tight spaces.

His potential to drill pull-up jumpers and operate as a secondary ball handler is perhaps Herro’s most intriguing attribute. But he also shows tremendous promise off-ball, with the movement and catch-and-shoot potential to become a well-rounded deep threat.
