As perhaps the top senior in the 2019 class, Johnson used a strong NCAA Tournament to establish himself as a first-round prospect. He’s an elite spot-up shooter at 6-foot-8, boasting NBA size and one clear-cut NBA skill. That alone will intrigue some teams.
Johnson already plays smart within the offense, cutting to the rim, relocating to open space and curling around screens consistently. He stays in motion and hits jumpers, all while defending the wing capably. He fits the 3-and-D mold teams crave.
