A strong pre-draft process has placed Luka Samanic firmly in the first-round discussion. In this event, the Spurs add two international prospects to the frontcourt, pairing Bitadze with a skilled perimeter threat in Samanic.

While not a great three-point shooter, Samanic has showed range in the past. He also has an intriguing blend of offensive skills to coincide will long-term improvements to his shot, including some advanced passing chops at the four spot. He should become a decent complementary scorer long term.

At 6-foot-11, Samanic checks in with a negative wingspan. That, in combination with poor strength, leads to some concerns on defense. He has the mobility to defend in space and switch on the perimeter, but stronger forwards will power through his chest inside. There are limitations.
