A late riser, Terence Davis has impressed and workouts and is on track for first-round consideration. The Bucks will need to add players who can complement Giannis Antetokounmpo, and every cost-controlled asset matters moving forward.
Davis stands 6-foot-5 with a 6-foot-9 wingspan and plus athleticism, allowing Mike Budenholzer to use him at a couple positions. He’s not an elite three-point shooter — something Milwaukee values — but he improved drastically as a senior and hits mid-range shots at a promising clip. There’s room to expand his range.
Beyond his shooting, Davis will contribute as a cutter and shot creator, giving the Bucks another player who can get dribble penetration and facilitate to open shooters. Davis is also a strong on-ball defender who should guard ones and twos effectively.
