The Bulls are set at every position except point guard. Coby White is the best lead guard on the board, presenting Chicago with a dynamic 6-foot-5 shot creator to pair alongside Zach LaVine and Otto Porter Jr.
White is explosive in transition, often pushing the pace and gunning up court. The Bulls have the personnel to run and out-hustle opponents, though Jim Boylen might not lean into those strengths. He’s also an excellent spot-up shooter who can function off-ball next to Chicago’s other creators.
Despite lacking elite physical tools, White does have positional size to defend ones and twos successfully. He’s aggressive on-ball and should develop into a staunch one-on-one defender in the NBA. He checks a lot of boxes for the Bulls.
