The Philadelphia 76ers will have competition when it comes to re-signing their big free agents.

As the July 30 free agent moratorium approaches, the Philadelphia 76ers are gearing up for a pivotal summer. While the 2019 NBA Draft provided much-needed depth in Matisse Thybulle, the Sixers’ competitive future hinges largely on what happens over the next few weeks.

It’s widely expected that Philadelphia will offer Jimmy Butler and Tobias Harris more money than anyone else on the market. The Sixers have the ability to offer a five-year, $190 million extension to both. In Butler’s case, he’ll almost certainly get it. Harris might command up to that number as well.

The ball no longer sits firmly in Philadelphia’s court, though. Most reports seem to point toward Butler and Harris considering their options. J.J. Redick is also a free agent who could walk if the Sixers don’t offer enough compensation.

Several teams are expected to make a run at the Sixers’ main free agents, but only a handful possess real opportunities to sign one (or both). The following article will break down the five teams who have a real shot at prying Butler, Harris or Redick away from Philadelphia.
