Ben Simmons vs. Eric Bledsoe

Both players are coming off brilliant seasons with their respective franchises and will be looking to improve their game. Ben Simmons will look to improve his shooting from all areas of the court, whereas Eric Bledsoe will aim to improve his consistency throughout games.

However, having said that, when comparing both players it is obvious that the better player is Ben Simmons. Although he may not have an efficient jump shot, he is one of the most talented guards in the NBA. His court vision and ability to score inside the paint are unbelievable.

Eric Bledsoe lacks the offensive presence when compared to Ben, however, he makes up for that with his extraordinary defensive game. This can be explained through him making the All-Defensive first team this year. Through the comparison of the numbers of these guards, Ben’s numbers are clearly higher in all categories except for steals per game, which is lapsed by only 0.1 steals per game.

Ben is coming off a season where he averaged 19/9/8, whereas Bledsoe only averaged 16/5/6. Furthermore, Ben has also appeared in one All-Star game, whereas Bledsoe is yet to do so in his nine-year career.
