At 6-foot-5, Ayo Dosunmu has good measurements for a modern-day comboguard. His decision to return to school was notable. He had a chance to go in the second round this summer, but instead decided to aim higher as a sophomore.

While some question Dosunmu’s ability to play point guard on a full-time basis, his athleticism and passing chops are highly intriguing. He managed 3.3 assists per game as a freshman and, with tighter handles, could earn looks for point guard-hungry teams in the draft.

Perhaps Dosunmu’s best traits, however, fit into the classic 3-and-D mold. He’s a solid spot-up shooter who can easily create in a secondary capacity. He’s also a promising defender, with a frame well-suited for guarding multiple positions on the exterior.
