4. Ben Simmons

Ben Simmons‘ name continues to be brought up for various reasons this offseason, whether that be a criticism of his lack of shooting or to his confrontation with security at a Melbourne Casino. Recently, some footage has also been released of Ben performing with a plethora of shots from all sections of the court. These videos showcase a new and improved Ben with better handles and a more efficient jump shot.

Without a reliable jump shot, Ben was one of the most dominant players in the entire NBA. Having a mid-ranger in his arsenal will help Ben to become a better scorer outside of the paint, which will also demand some form of respect to Ben, rather than ignoring him and doubling Embiid inside the paint (like what Lebron did to Ben).

Ben Simmons received huge criticism from the media and fans, as he refused to take shots outside of the paint, especially during the playoffs. Having also received a huge contract extension from the Sixers franchise, he will look to break into the top tier of point guards in the NBA.

Since there is so much room for improvement in Ben’s game, there is also a very high chance of him having a breakout year. Especially if he carries the confidence, he showed in the practice games throughout the NBA season.
