Former Philadelphia 76ers players still in the NBA
J.J. Redick
Prior to joining the Philadelphia 76ers, J.J. Redick played for the Orlando Magic, Bucks and Clippers. Despite only playing in two seasons with the Sixers, Redick had becoming one of the best 3-point shooters in team history. He made 433 3-pointers with the 76ers, which is sixth most in franchise history. During these past two years, Redick averaged 17.6 points on 40.7 percent shooting from deep.
Sadly, Philly couldn’t afford to keep the sharpshooter this summer, so he joined two former 76ers players Holiday and Okafor in New Orleans. With the depth of talented guards on the Pelicans, Redick is probably going to be coming off the bench for the majority of the season.
Mike Muscala
Mike Muscala was acquired in the summer of 2018 via trade from the Hawks that Luwawu-Cabarrot was involved in. Despite his failures as a defender, offensively Muscala was ideal as stretch big man coming off the bench. In Philly, he averaged 7.4 points and 4.3 rebounds, while making 34.2 percent of his 3-point attempts.
Muscala was also a part of the deal that landed the Sixers Harris. However, before he even played a game with the Clippers, he was traded again to the Lakers. This offseason he signed with the rebuilding Thunder.
