Jerami Grant

Jerami Grant’s value as a second round pick wasn’t fully recognized or appreciated during his tenure with the Philadelphia 76ers. The power forward averaged 8.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks with the Sixers. At the beginning of his third season with the 76ers, the franchise traded him to the Oklahoma City Thunder. There he blossomed as a modern stretch four with elite defensive talent.

Grant was recently traded to the Denver Nuggets as a result of the Thunder beginning a rebuild. He will have a nice role on the Nuggets loaded front court rotation of Nikola Jokic, Paul Millsap, Mason Plumlee and Michael Porter Jr.

Christian Wood

Christian Wood was one of the many members of what was deemed as “The Process”. He was a raw prospect with a lot of potential that was a part of Philly’s rebuild a few years ago. Sadly, he failed to recognized his potential with the Sixers. In the 76ers, he averaged 3.6 points and 2.2 rebounds. After his tenure with the 76ers ended, he then went on to become a G-League star.

He’s also suited up for the Charlotte Hornets, Milwaukee Bucks and most recently the New Orleans Pelicans. At the end of last season, Wood played very well with the Pelicans and he’s currently competing for a roster spot on the Detroit Pistons with veteran star Joe Johnson. If he makes the Pistons roster, this could end up being a career year for him.
