Former Philadelphia 76ers players still in the NBA
Landry Shamet
The former first round pick of the 2018 NBA Draft appeared to be a part of the Philadelphia 76ers future due to his production in his rookie season. While on the Sixers, Landry Shamet averaged 8.3 points on 40.4 percent shooting from downtown. Sadly, his career with the 76ers was cut short do to the Harris trade. Shamet was one of the centerpieces of the deal.
He now figures to be an important role player on the Clippers this season as they chase a title with their new core of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. His ability to knock down shots and be a secondary playmaker is important to the Clippers backcourt dynamic.
Lou Williams
Like many players already listed and yet to be listed, Lou Williams started his career with Philly. It was with the Sixers that the reigning Sixth Man of the Year was molded into the dynamic scoring threat he is today. In seven seasons with the 76ers, Williams averaged 11.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists.
After he left Philly, Williams has played for the Hawks, Toronto Raptors, Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets and currently for the Clippers. He won his first Sixth Man of the Year award with the Raptors and the last two with the Clippers. Like Shamet, Williams will be important to the Clippers title run this year.
