Philadelphia 76ers: All-Time Process rankings
14. Evan Turner
Justin DiVirgilio
Evan Turner came into the fold of the 76ers franchise for the 2010-11 season as a rookie. Turner, better known as ET, enjoyed some highs in his first few years on the squad. ET was the second overall pick in the draft and was apart of the last two postseason teams for the Sixers before “The Process” started. For his career with Philly, he averaged 11.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists.
Turner was traded in the inaugural “Process” season of 2013-14, where he played and started in 54 games. ET, spending his first three and a half seasons as a 76er, was traded to the Indiana Pacers for Danny Granger and a 2015 2nd-round pick. ET brought the Sixers another valued asset (the second round pick), which is a highly coveted pillar of the “Process” mantra. Turner took his marginal offensive play to another franchise for the betterment of the Sixers in the long term.
“He was one of the gems of the second rounds selected by Hinkie.”
13. Richaun Holmes
Lucas Johnson
Richaun Holmes was selected in the second round of the same draft that the Sixers picked Jahlil Okafor third overall. Despite being a lower pick, he clearly became the better between the two by the end of their second season.
Holmes was an athletic big man with a high motor. He averaged 7.4 points and 4.2 rebounds coming off the bench for the Sixers. He was one of the gems of the second rounds selected by Hinkie. Sadly, the 76ers traded him away to the Phoenix Suns when Brown was the interim GM.
