8. Landry Shamet

Ashley Foltz

The 6-foot-5 shooting guard out of Witchita State, Landry Shamet, played 54 games with the Sixers. With the 26th overall pick in the 2018 draft, the Sixers picked up one of the best shooters in the draft class. Shamet’s not someone you think of when you think of “The Process”, but nonetheless, he’s considered an important part of “The Process”. Shamet’s draft rights were acquired as part of the Hinkie trade that landed the Sixers Dario Saric.

Shamet came into his rookie season liked he’d played in the league for a year or two already. With the Sixers, he averaged 8.3 points and shot 40.4 percent from three-point range, in 20.5 minutes per game played. Shamet only spent a sliver of time in Philadelphia, he was a huge asset to what we have now.

Back in February 2019, we traded Shamet along with Mike Muscala, Wilson Chandler, two first-round draft picks and two second-round draft picks for Tobias Harris, Mike Scott, and Boban Marjanovic. Harris and Scott have both shown how crucial their roles are on this team.

7. Tony Wroten

Justin DiVirgilio

Tony Wroten is one of the original “Process” members. Wroten spent the majority of his career with the 76ers, 110 games specifically. The point guard was part of the reason why the phrase, “Trust the Process”, became such a phenomenon in sports.

The former University of Washington product took full advantage of the revolving door of Sixers by being as aggressive as possible. The left-handed point guard played in a manner that attempted to get to the rim at will. During his tenure with Philly, he averaged 13.8 points, 3.6 assists and 1.2 steals. Wroten’s confidence was appreciated throughout his time on the Sixers.
