20. Furkan Korkmaz

Christopher Kline

Viewed as another Colangelo failure by some, Furkan Korkmaz was made possible by Sam Hinkie’s maneuvering in the years prior to 2016’s NBA Draft. The Turk hasn’t quite found his stride in Philadelphia, but a smooth 3-point stroke has left a few drops of optimism at the bottom of the bottle entering his third season. He’s just a 32.6 percent shooter from deep on his career.

19. Nik Stauskas

Justin DiVirgilio

Nik Stauskas played a total of 159 games for the 76ers over the course of 3 seasons spanning from 2015-2017. He averaged 8.7 points on 34.7 percent shooting from downtown with Philly. Stauskas, better known as Sauce Castillo, was a shooting guard with some shooting and a little bounce. Stauskas’ trade to the Sixers from the Sacramento Kings was a win for both parties, those being Stauskas and the 76ers. It is the infamous pick swap.

The trade didn’t only involved Stauskas, but included rights to swap first round picks in 2016 and 2017, as well as an unprotected 2019 first round pick. Stauskas not only brought energy and a cool nickname to the floor, but also allowed fans to appreciate Sam Hinkie’s smarts once again. Stauskas could never truly find his footing with the team as the competition escalated, but his name will always hold sentimental value to Hinkie and “The Process'” brilliance.
