Philadelphia 76ers Player Rankings: Defense rules
12. Raul Neto
October Stats: GP 3| MINS 3.3| FG% 50.0| TRB 0.7| AST 0.7| TOV 0.3| PTS 1.3
“October was beginning to look like a breakout party for Shake Milton.”
Brown wasn’t really trusting his point guard depth in general for October, but despite that Raul Neto was still able to play in three games. He only scored in one of those three games that he saw minutes in and that was against the Pistons. In that game he record the most minutes he played in during October. His impact was minimal, but it was positive.
11. Shake Milton
October Stats: GP 3| MINS 8.7| FG% 50.0| 3P% 44.4| FT% 75.0| TRB 0.7| AST 1.0| PF 1.7| TOV 1.3| PTS 6.3
October was beginning to look like a breakout party for Shake Milton. He had two games in which he scored 10 and nine points respectively. He was also shooting the lights out from downtown. Yet, against the Atlanta Hawks he injured his knee. He missed the rest of the month and is still currently out as well. Hopefully, whenever he returns to the bench, he can continue what he began in October.
10. Kyle O’Quinn
October Stats: GP 4| MINS 7.3| FG% 37.5| 3P% 25.0| FT% 50.0| TRB 2.8| BKL 0.5| STL 0.3| PF 0.8| TOV 0.5| PTS 2.3
Considering that the Embiid only missed the game against the Pistons and part of the Timberwolves game, Kyle O’Quinn had a decent amount of playing time. Both Embiid and Horford will monopolize the majority of minutes at the center position, so getting minutes in all four games during the month of October is big for O’Quinn. Unless either Embiid or Horford is out, his role in October will set the standard rest of the season.
