The Philadelphia 76ers extend their losing streak to 10 games against the Washinton Wizards as they struggled on both ends of the court.

Early on, the Philadelphia 76ers found success in feeding the ball to Joel Embiid in the paint, giving him seven points in six minutes of play. Tobias Harris also had a solid quarter shooting 2-3 from beyond to give him 10 points. After Raul Neto hit back to back clean threes, the Sixers ended the quarter up eight, 33-25, and 6-9 from beyond.

The second quarter was where the Sixers began to struggle, like usual. Davis Bertans completely went OFF in the first half. Shooting 100 percent from both the field and beyond he had himself 22 points. Just when it looked like the Sixers were going to possibly have a more seamless game, they started to slip into their sluggish selves. With 12 turnovers, a loose defense and an incoherent offense the Sixers ended the quarter trailing 55-65 causing an angry Brett Brown to enter the tunnel early.

Ben Simmons was a huge contributor to the downfall of the Sixers in the third quarter, contributing to six of their 16 turnovers. That is their turnovers per game AVERAGE, and they hit this with five minutes left in the quarter. Once again the Sixers bench was outscored, 11-29, in the third. If that doesn’t show that they need another strong bench shooter than I’m not sure what does. Though Raul Neto did lead the bench going 3-3 from the three-point line.

The Sixers thought that they could just coast the whole game and it would come together in the end…that was not the case. The only Sixer that seemed to want to win tonight was Tobi who hit his season-high of 33 points. The Wizards absolutely dismantled the Sixers throughout the night, 119-113.

The Sixers head back home to face the Clevland Cavaliers for what it seems like the 100th time this season.
