It’s a Philadelphia 76ers Christmas!

From all of us here at The Sixer Sense: Merry Christmas! We appreciate the strong readership in 2019, and we look forward to an even stronger 2020. To celebrate the holiday season, we decided to give one gift to every member of the Philadelphia 76ers. Well, hypothetically at least.

The Sixers are 22-10, good for fifth in a surprisingly front-loaded Eastern Conference. When the dust settles, Philadelphia still projects as a legitimate title contender — and perhaps the best team in the East outside Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.

There isn’t a ton to complain about. The Sixers fanbase has a knack for nitpicks, but in the end, Philadelphia is a good team with ample room for upward movement. The starting five will gel, Brett Brown will find more balance offensively, and the defense will continue to ascend.

In true Christmas spirit, these gifts will aim to focus on the bright side. To examine the positives surrounding the Sixers, instead of dwelling on the negatives. It’s truly an exciting group, one with the potential to be the best Sixers team in decades.

As the old man with a beard would say: Ho, ho, ho!
