Philadelphia 76ers Player of the Week: Ben Simmons’ triple-double
The Philadelphia 76ers franchise point guard started the week with a strong performance and played solid throughout the rest of the week.
The Philadelphia 76ers were able to put together a 2-1 record this past week and Ben Simmons‘ strong play was a big reason for their success. With that in mind, Simmons claims another “Player of the Week” award this season.
In the Sixers lone loss of the week against the Houston Rockets, Simmons shined. He ended with 29 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists, three steals, four blocks, three turnovers and five fouls, while going 13-20 on field goal attempts and 3-7 from the free throw line. This was Simmons’ third triple-double of the season and arguably one of his best games this year thus far.
