Mike Scott

I think a lot of Sixers fans would agree with me in saying that we expected Mike Scott to come off the bench this year and be a great spark to the offense. So far this season he has done that in a good amount of games. This season, Scott is averaging 6.1 points and 3.2 rebounds. He’s shooting 43.1 percent from the field and 35.8 percent from beyond.
Scott has been a solid backup this year and has stepped up in some big games this season, such as his 15 point game against the Celtics (115-109, Sixers), where he hit five huge threes. For the rest of the season, I’d like to see Scott be more aggressive in the paint.
At six-foot-seven he’s big enough to get in there and bully his way to the rim. I’d also like to see him try and draw more fouls while his driving in and get to the line more. This season, so far, he’s shooting 75.7 percent from the line. That would help greatly in some game situations going forward.
