Isaiah Joe has dealt with injury all season, but given the Celtics’ three first-round picks, they can afford to take a gamble. Before the season, Joe was billed as the prime 3-and-D prospect in this class. Boston can bet on him fulfilling his potential.

The Celtics’ offense is rooted in dynamic shot creators — Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward. It’s typically a good idea to surround dynamic creators with good shooters. Joe profiles as one of the better shooters in the 2020 class.

A thin frame and a newly amassed injury history will give teams pause, but Joe’s impressive scoring numbers, his upside as an off-movement shooter, and his potential to add strength are enough to earn the final spot in our mock.
