6. Joel Embiid

January Stats: GP 4| MINS 31.5| FG% 50.8| 3P% 26.7| FT% 65.4| TRB 11.3| AST 3.8| BKL 0.8| STL 0.5| PF 3.3| TOV 3.0| PTS 20.8

Previous ranking: 1st

Considering that Joel Embiid is the Philadelphia 76ers franchise center, it’s hard to believe he’s not in the top-5 in these rankings. However, it’s not based on his production. It had more to do with the fact that he only played in four games and that was because of the hand injury. Assuming he stays healthy, he won’t be outside of the top-five moving forward.

5. Furkan Korkmaz

January Stats: GP 13| MINS 21.3| FG% 39.3| 3P% 39.5| FT% 58.8| TRB 1.8| AST 1.0| BKL 0.4| STL 0.4| PF 1.3| TOV 0.7| PTS 9.8

Previous ranking: 7th

With the two major injuries to the roster in January, Furkan Korkmaz did a great job stepping up for the Sixers. He did what they needed him to do as the sixth man coming off the bench. He spaced the floor well, scored and competed on the defensive end most nights. He’s not perfect, but he was essential to Philly’s success to begin the new year.

4. Josh Richardson

January Stats: GP 10| MINS 31.3| FG% 43.8| 3P% 26.2| FT% 91.2| TRB 2.8| AST 3.6| BKL 0.4| STL 0.6| PF 2.4| TOV 2.1| PTS 14.8

Previous ranking: 4th

Josh Richardson began the new year pretty well outside of his terrible 3-point shooting. He scored in double-digits at seven out of the 10 games he played in and scored over 20 points in three of those games. It was bad when he went down with an injury, but Milton was able to play well in his sted.
