30. team. 41. . 12-45. Previous: 30th. Golden State Warriors

The Warriors have gotten strong production from Andrew Wiggins post-trade deadline, but to little avail. This is an inexperienced roster desperately awaiting the return of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson next season. It’s that simple.

29. team. 156. . 16-41. Previous: 26th. Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers traded for Andre Drummond in a surprise last-second swing at the deadline. The early results are mixed, and there’s no guarantee Drummond stays even beyond this season. Still, he does add another formidable force to a deep frontcourt.

At this point, Cleveland’s most intriguing prospect may be Kevin Porter Jr. That’s not to discredit the productivity of Darius Garland and Collin Sexton — both are solid NBA talents — but Porter’s blend of size, athleticism, and shot-making puts him a step ahead at the moment.

team. 27. . 17-40. Previous: 29th. New York Knicks. 28

The Knicks are… still the Knicks. It has been a disappointing rookie season for R.J. Barrett, and the roster’s veterans are counting the days until free agency. There are flashes here and there, but New York still has a long way to go.
