27 points per game in 8-game stretch

Joel Embiid looked like his regular self in the month of February. If we exclude the game he got injured and the Boston game where he shot an awful 1-for-11 from the field, Embiid was spectacular. He averaged 27 points per game in that eight-game stretch. He has also been shooting the three at a very efficient rate, 44.44 percent, which falls 10 percent above his season average. Not to mention he has returned to troll Joel, even flicking the finger at Kevin Huerter.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Joel Embiid is having fun again.

In that span of fun Joel, he has gotten his career high in points at 49, and just looks a lot more energetic on both ends. He already rates among the highest in usage rates among centers. This month his usage rate has gone up from 31 to 34.5 percent, even when Simmons was in the lineup.

Of course with his point total and usage rate going up, that means more post-ups! Showing the league that post-ups are still viable, while producing 1.12 points per post-up, which ranks him as highest in the league. He is showing the league who is the most dominant player in the league, and hopefully he recovers from his injury so we can continue getting vintage troll Joel back.
