Mike Scott finding his rhythm

Mike Scott has been borderline unplayable for the better part of the season. He went through a shooting slump where it seemed as though you could tell the ball wasn’t going to catch iron from his release.

Unfortunately for Mike, his ability to space the floor is his greatest asset to this team. He has become a liability on defense and is ineffective on the low block. When Elton made the trade for Glenn Robinson III and Alec Burks, I thought Mike Scott’s season was over beyond garbage time at the end of games.

Then he changed his fate on the road trip. He got time out of necessity and gained some serious confidence. Mike was 10-for-18 from three and brought intensity to his minutes. If Mike can stretch the floor and scrap for loose balls, I like his chances of being a part of the playoff rotation.
